Summary of Install
The actual installation period for Alicia’s home was 8 days, a relatively short period of time. On March 10, we installed a new sliding glass door. On March 16th, we replaced her insulation. Finally, on the 18th, we tore out her old roof and replaced it with Owens Corning COOL shingles. Alicia had chosen the color Mojave, which is a cool sandy color that paired nicely with her home.
We worked with Alicia all the way through October because Sacramento County revoked the final inspection we’d performed in April. The inspector, who told us at Epic that he was not in a good mood, required us to do a lot of things that were not in our contract. Despite the challenges, we continued to help Alicia so she could have a safe and approved living space.
